My Windows Media Player will not work after Upgrade

I upgraded to Windows XP Home addition and I cannot get
the media player to launch.
 
Try opening a music file,R.click on it,then select,"open
with",choose wmp.If that doesnt work,download again and
retry,make sure its the wmp9 series for xp.
