My win2k non admin accounts are dead

I just downloaded all the security upgrades and such for
Windows 2000 earlier today but now all the non
administrator accounts on my machine cause this error:

C:\WINNT\explorer.EXE This Application Has Requested the
Runtime to Terminate it in an Unusual Way.

I really do not want to have to re-install windows just to
fix this problem... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Try to fix the problem by deleting the non-admin profile
folder (e.g. c:\Documents and Settings\Jason).

I don't know but saying the SP level and exactly which fixes you
applied might help others help. The "new profile" suggested already
seems a good first step in troubleshooting. Also if there is a
difference between Power-Users and non-PU might be significant.
