My video will play but there is no sound? **URGENT**

i AM PUTTING TOGETHER A PRESENTATION FOR UNIVERSITY...DEADLINE IS TUESDAY...I
HAVE INSERTED THE VIDEO FILE THAT IS KEPT IN THE SAME FOLDER AS THE
PRESENTATION...IT WILL PLAY BRILLIANTLY BUT THERE IS NO SOUND...IT PLAYS ON
THE MCI PLAYER WITH SOUND...ANY IDEAS???

Firstly, please turn off your caps lock - it looks like you are shouting at
us and I'm sure you don't mean to do that. We're only users trying to help
out fellow users after all :-)

You say that the video file and presentation are in the same folder, but
where is that folder? Try moving the folder directly to your C drive and see
if that helps - I would probably also re-insert the video just to be on the
safe side. And does the video have a long name? If so, try re-naming and
re-inserting.

If that doesn't help be sure to let us know your PowerPoint & OS version in
your reply.

Hi Lucy! :-)...I may be stressed out but not quite shouting just yet! Thanks
for the quick reply! I am not sure why but they have started to play with
images and sound...I've no reason for this it just started to
happen...obviously I must have done something but as a precaution I will move
the folder to C Drive etc!
