Hi
You type:
You have mpeg and jpeg files from same "digital camera"?
And that you burn mpeg and jpeg together?
What authoring software are you using?
What file type are you producing? Mpeg1?
Are you burning to disk as "data"?
And as is so very common with this NG, it is an odds-on
certainty you won't reply, so I will take an educated guess
that the reason being - you are not doing it correctly.

Thank's decoder.
I don't know excatly what is the file type.MPEG 1 or MPEG 2.I took the
recording by using Sony cybershot digital camera. My computer shown that the
file type is MPEG only ( there is nothing another additional indicator ,1 or
2 etc )
Yes,I burned them together by using Windows xp and choose "burn to cd".Burn
them together into a CD-RW.
Is there a mistake from my flow steps.would like to help

You've burned a data cd.
Your stb DVD player must have jpeg slideshow capabilty.
You are going to have to initially produce a clip that incorporates
both your still and moving images.
Assuming the mpeg to be Mpeg1, you can use Windows Movie Maker -
Start/Programs/Accessories/Entertainment/Windows Movie Maker
Open WMM, Click: File/Import into Collection

Then try this forum for all the advice on how to use WMM:
microsoft.public.windowsxp.moviemaker
