I've got 1.80 GB Free space on my USB. That's what my PC says anyway. But
if I try to save anything on it, a message comes back, "This location on disk
F: is full. Choose another location and try again. I'm currently using Live
One Care to keep the PC clean, if that rings any bells. I've inserted
another new USB into another port (location G:), and I'm able to save to it.
But I'm curious as to why the other USB at location F: won't accept. I've
checked it for viruses and it came up clean. Any suggestions? Thanks.

how many files in the root folder?
Drives formatted as FAT12/FAT16 have a limit of 512, I believe.
FAT32 has no limit.
Try to create a folder, and move files into it.

I don't know what you mean by "root folder." I did look under "properties"
for the Flash disk, but all it said was FAT - without any numerical
designation.

If the file you are trying to load exceeds 4GB, you will get that message
regardless of how much available space is on the device. Flash disks and
thumb drives use the FAT32 file system and that is one of FAT32's
limitations.

It's listed as a USB "Flash Disk."
