My toolbar does not display address of site I'm visiting

I also have this problem and anxiously look for the solution.
Some one/some place I visited modified my IE6 so the URL address box does not open. When I enable the "Address" toolbar, a greyed out panel labeled "Address" appears and does not respond to clicks.

I am limited now to only visiting sites that are in my favorites or that I have links to. GRRR.

Set the Address Bar to IE/XP Default - Line #245

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm - scroll down to Address Bar

Toolbars missing in Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer

Set the Search Engine in Internet Explorer back to XP Default (Line 229)

If any of the above fix your problem, I suggest you check for spyware and
viruses also.

Did you try pressing Ctrl-o?
