I'm using FPXP and I used the Personal Web Web Site Template. When I
published, everything I added shows up, but none of the components of the
template actually show up, such as the background, bullets, page banner,
navigational links. Is there some setting that I need to change? Thanks in
advance for the help

If the host is running the FP Server Extensions, open the remote site
directly in FrontPage and choose Recalcualte HYperlinks from the Tools menu.

If you're publishing by external FTP, be sure to publish the hidden
_borders, _themes, and _derived folders along with everything else.

Thank you for the reply. I'm kind of a beginner when it comes to this...I am
publishing by an external FTP because the publishing wouldn't work for me
within FP. How would I go about making sure that the hidden borders, themes
and derived folders got published? These aren't even showing up under the
entire myweb. I've gotten these to show up before and I started creating a
new site and these won't appear in this new one in FP.

Thanks

With your Web opened in FP:

Tools | Web Setting | Advanced and tick the box: Show Hidden Folders

Then ftp the folders that Jim listed to the server.
