My taskpad shows another users tasks

My client is a Personal Assistant and so has her manager's mailbox in 'my
calendars' (Outlook 2003). Consequently, when she displays his calendar along
with her's, the task pad defaults to his. A sequence of clicks can establish
both calendars and her taskpad in view but as soon as she goes to another
folder (ie inbox), on her return to the calendar it defaults back to his
taskpad.

Is she opening his mailbox as her default or as a secondary mailbox? How is
she changing the taskpad to view her tasks?

I am not sure about whether his mailbox is a default or secondary, I would
imagine it would be the secondary. We want to see both her and his calendars
and her taskpad. When both calendars are checked the task pad displays his
tasks. But we can re-establish her tasks only by unchecking his calendar in
the navigation pane then switching to another folder, back to her calendar
which now displays her tasks and rechecking his calendar. Rather tedious. If
you have not come across this problem with 2003 before it may very well be
that it is in the set up of his mailbox with her. I will enquire, thankyou
and please let me know if you think of anything else

Here in the Netherlands, i'm having exactly the same problem.
Did you find a solution?

BTW, we are also having problems with saving the shortcuts in Outlook2003.
Do you have this also?

I am having the same problem in Miami, FL. OLK 2003 does not want to
maintain a user's settings specifically for the taskpad in Calendar view. My
secretaries have a beast of a time when they view their attorneys'
calendars, then go back to their own. All settings to Taskpad view are lost.
No tasks show up at all. The only thing I have found that works is the
tedious set of clicks to >Customize this view> then do "Clear All" for any
item that has it available - like Filter and Sort.

Is this an innate problem with the application? Will it be addressed in the
next version? Does anyone know of a "patch" or fix that is more long term?

Hi Koert,
I have just found another client who is having this problem. It seems very
rare as I see many clients who do not have this problem. I think it must be
in the set up by the IT administrator. I do not know much about that end of
things but someone must know. Hope they are out there and logging in. Good
