My table cells resize...kinda

When I go to edit content in a cell, the cell (and all cells within that
table) will all of a sudden change it's size and become elongated. If I hit
the PREVIEW tab the cells look fine and then upon returning to the NORMAL tab
- again, everything is fine. The cell is now back to it's original size.

I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME figure out why my table cells keep doing this!!!
It just started happening and it doesn't happen to all my pages, only the
ones in a certan folder. I recently redesigned a section and all of these
pages were built new from scratch.

Anyone else encounter this problem?
 
Im no expert but if you go into table properties you can define the wdith of
the cells in the table. I have had yoru probelm before and this resolved it.

They are all set to 100% and I can't fix them.

The total width of all cells in a row must not exceed 100% of the table width.

well theres 2 ways to change them - go into table properties and specify
width as a % if you want them all the same - eg 3 colomns would be 33.3%
obviously.

If it is just one colomn set to 100% change it to pixels and experiment with
the size that you need.
