I have the same problem. Sometimes it happens after I print
something, almost like there's a power surge and Media
player "blows a fuse." Other times it just happens even if
my computer is idle. And if you press pause then play,
there's a tiny bit of sound, but then it just goes silent
again. Any suggestions?
Did either of you find an answer to your problem - mine's
doing the same thing, almost like the machine is running
low on resources, and clobbering the audio service,
altough after checking my performance monitor, that
doesn't seem to be the case...
