My solution for email problems

After 4 GRUELLING days of troubleshooting why email in both Defender AND MS
Outlook 2002-3 kept timing out and would not allow any mail in or out, I
FINALLY found my solution.

SIMPLE.... in a final attempt after I had done EVERYTHING.... I decided to
DELETE McAFEE Security Center.... and BINGO.... both VISTA Defender email,
and my MS Outlook work like a DREAM.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help me.

No. McAfee is an anti-virus and Windows Defender is an anti-spyware. Get
Avast, it's free and good.

Avast worked on Vista when I tried it. I'm not using it currently.
 
I am using Avast 4.7 Home version and it works great in Vista.
