While running IE6 in WinXP2003Pro I'm trying to access my
website but I get "page will not display" or I get sent
to a search engine page. I can't even launch the root
server page, http://www.finitesite.com .Every other site
I go to works fine. It's not a problem of my page having
too many graffics, it simply can't be found. Mu friends
can access it. I contacted my host & they have no
problems, just me. I tried disabling my anti-virus &
firewall, removing my router, clearing temp files,
history & cache but still no good. Can anyone help me? I
really must be able to access & edit my site.

I copied the address from your post and loaded it into an
IE browser - what shows up is a host site.

This is the address of your web host.
{http://www.finitesite.com}

This is NOT YOUR WEB ADDRESS.

You need to use the address of your individual site space,
contact the host for more information.

Good luck.

Check C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc for a file named HOSTS with no
extension. (Not Hosts.sam)
Make sure Windows is set to show hidden files and folders and is NOT set to
hide extensions for known file types.
If HOSTS exists, rename it to HOSTS.OLD
Reboot an try again.

Or, In a Cmd window, enter
ipconfig /flushdns
then clear your TIF also, and re-boot.
