My printer list dissappeared now I can't add a new one.

I went to add two new printers on my computer. The first was not on the list. I used the CD that came with the printer and added it sucessfully. I went to add the second printer that I have had for some time and the list of 100's (1,000's?) of printers and corresponding drivers has now been replaced with just one item. The one for the printer I added using the software that came with one of the printers. My original list of printers has dissappeared.

How do I get back the original list and corresponding drivers that came with XP? The printer I wish to add is an HP and HP doesn't have a downloadable driver for XP at their website. They refer to the list in the XP OS. I have XP on another computer and the printer is listed on the original list. Thanks in advance.
 
On the list of manufacturers -- is there one that says HP & another Hewlett-Packard? Try
