In My Pictures,how do I select a group of pics to put in a folder?

On desktop click on My Documents
Click on My Pictures
First Create a new folder and name it what ever you want
to call it. To do so; click on "file" upper left
corner, click on new, click on Folder, you will now see
the new folder and the name should be highlighted in blue
you can immediately change the name to what ever you want
from New Folder to your New Name by typing in the box
below the picture. (If it is not highlighted blue then
right click on the folder, then click on rename then type
in the new name in the box below the folder). Now after
you have created the folder now go to your group of
pictures. If all the pictures you want are together then
Left Click on the first one, then hold down the shift key
and Left click on the last one you want. Everything from
the first to the last should be highlighted. You can now
right click on any of the highlighted pictures then Left
click on cut or copy (which ever you choose cut removes
the pictures completely from the old location and copy
leaves a copy in the old location). Now go to the New
Folder (whatever you named it) right click on it and left
click on paste they will now be all transported to the
new folder.
You can also transfer them by Left clicking on the first
picture, hold down shift key, Left click on last picture
all pictures will now be highlighted. Now left click
anywhere on the highlighted pictures hold the left click
down and drag them all to the new folder you will see the
new folder highlight so you will know that they are lined
up to transfer. Let go of the left click and they will
transfer.
Now if you want to pick pictures that are not all
together but are randomly placed throughout the my
picture folder do the following.
Make and rename a new folder as mentioned previously.
Now left click on the first picture you want to transfer,
now hold down the control key and keep holding it, now
click one at a time on every other picture that you want
to transfer. After you have chosen them all release the
control button, then right click on any of the
highlighted pictures and use the cut and copy method or
just drag them all into the new folder as you did earlier
when using the shift key method.
