Everytime I save a picture from the internet into one of my picture folders,
the pic/preview always comes up as unavailable so i can never see it.
Anybody know what I should do? thanks.

How are you saving the pictures? It almost sounds like you are saving a
shortcut to the image (the one on the web page) instead of an actual image
file.

OR the image is saving successfully on your hard drive but it is of a
format that does not generate a preview. Not much you can do about this
except use a viewer that can handle the saved file type.

well its weird, i had a virus on my comp and had to redo everything. but
before i was able to save and view them with no problem. i just right clickon
the pic and hit save as...

And is that option still there for you? It should be.

If not, this may be residual damage from the virus. If that is the case,
you'll need to repair your existing XP setup.
Run a repair install.
