I want to use the slideshow facility in My Pictures. The help file says
that to open My Pictures I should use Start & then My Pictures. When I
click on Start, however, there is no icon for My Pictures; any ideas please?

Control Panel > Taskbar and Start Menu > Start Menu tab > Customize button >
Advanced tab > checkmark in My Pictures - Display as a link.

Thank you. I've done that & the link works however I do not get the
"Picture Tasks" menu, which includes the "view as slideshow" task.

Open My Documents, then open My Pictures and then in Picture Tasks menu click
' view as a slideshow '.

:
my problem is I don't get the "Picture Tasks" menu

Open My Pictures, click on the tools menu and select folder options, on the
general tab under tasks make sure there is a dot in ' Show Common Tasks in
Folders '.

Does that help you further ?
