I used to be able to slide my mouse over a photo on the internet and a
toolbar would appear where I could save, print, ect... And in the lower right
hand corner a small box would appear when a larger image was resized. That is
all gone. I don't know where it went. Does anyone know what I'm talking about
or be able to help me :( That was my favorite feature and I'm at such a loss.

==================
Windows XP? IE6?

Open an IE window and go to...
Tools / Internet Options / Advanced tab...
scroll down to:
"Enable Image Toolbar [requires restart]"
if it is not selected...Check the box / Apply / OK.

Restart your computer.

If that doesn't fix the issue...try the following:

Go to...Start / Run and type
(or copy/paste):

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

A dialog box should report the following:

"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"

I don't seem to have the enable image toolbar option. I have IE 7 with
Windows XP. I wonder if they did away with that toolbar. I did try your other
suggestion as well with no luck. I thank you so much for your help though. If
you could think of anything else I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

That's why I specified...IE6...the Image Toolbar
was removed from IE7.

Try right clicking a picture on the net and look
at the options in the context menu...maybe
that will be useful.

If you are not happy with IE7... you can uninstall
it and your system should roll back to IE6.

Thanks so much for all of your help. It's a shame they had to omit something
that was so very useful.

Thanks again,

If you've upgraded to IE7, there isn't an image toolbar any more.
Mike.
