I have a 'My Pictures' folder on a secondary drive on a Dell 600 Mhz machine
with 512 MB of RAM. I am running Windows 2000 Service Pack 3. Whenever I
click on the 'My Pictures' folder (which has an icon that looks like a hard
drive icon instead of the regular folder icon) Explorer.exe abends with an
error message that says the following:
"The instruction at "0x66f69916" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be "read".
Click OK to terminate the program
Click CANCEL to debug the program"
After that, I can't do much of anything since explorer.exe will no longer
run and the Start Mennu freezes. I can reset everything by logging off so I
don't need to completely shut down.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
