You need to give us more info because what you are saying does not make any
sense.
What is this 'Picture file' you are talking about?
If I read it correctly, this 'picture file' program copied 3000 files from
some place to another place while you were adding some photo files to
someplace using something. Then you tried to deleted some photos or files,
it created or copied some files from someplace to someplace using a some
program.
Or
You used scanner to scan some photos to a directory and during the scanning
3000 files were somehow copied from directory A to directory B. You suspect
that the scanning program may have done this.
Then, when you tried to correct this by deleting the 3000 files, instead of
these files being deleted even more files were copied to this folder where
the first 3000 files were.
This is why it is hard for anyone to decode what exactly happened.
