I am running windows 2000 AD network on subnet 192.168.4.0/24.
A couple weeks ago, I created a new subnet (192.168.8.0) for preparing AD
site. I have a DC running on that subnet. The link between 192.168.4.0 and
192.168.8.0 is 100Mbps (temporary).
Today I found that most PC running in 192.168.4.0 has the logon server
pointing to the DC running in 192.168.8.0. Eventually this DC will be moved
and the link will be a 512 DSL link across the WAN (as opposed to the temp
link - 100Mbps). How can I make sure all the PC points to the correct logon
server (i.e. the DC in 192.168.4.0)?
The DC in 192.168.8.0 has no role and it knows the FSMO role held by the DC
in 192.168.4.0/24. Thank you.
