My PC turns off and restarts

My PC runs like a dream until I use Messenger Live. I can talk to contacts
but as soon as I use my webcam it shuts down and restarts. Im using Windows
XP Home with SP2. Im on Broadband. Ive looked in the events viewer and had
this warning :

The Telephony service hung on starting.

Normally on restart I get a message up saying my system has recovered from a
serious problem and it mentions my alcatel speedtouch connection. Like I
said, its only when I use webcam and some games other than this my PC is
working great!
