my pc keeps on rebooting.

hello,
when i power on my pc (pIV, 3.2GHz, 2GB ram, XP SP2, ...) it goes smoothly
until dispaying the first screen of windows then reboots and keeps on
rebooting.
what's likely to be the problem?

appreciate your help,
 
hi jerry,
yes i tried to boot in safe mode. i tried also to apply the best
configuration that was recently working with no luck. it keeps on rebooting.

Do you have your recovery disk or XP CD?.
If you do try to start in recovery console with your CD and Follow the
instructions.
