My newsgroup messages are "invisible", why?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question, but I don't know
where else to get help.

My problem is that when I post to newsgroups from my work PC, I can see the
posts, but am positive no one else can see them (took awhile to realise
this, I first thought the world was ignoring me :) ).

I get confirmation of the "invisibility" of my posts when I open the same
newsgroups from this (my home) PC and cannot see my own posts from here.

Please, can someone explain this and help me resolve the problem?

1. Have you tried View | Current View | Show Replies to my Messages?

2. Tools | Options | Read
Uncheck "Get 300 headers at a time".

Tried those options on my work PC, no luck. I can still see my posts
but no one else can. Very perplexing. :(
More suggestions please. ?????????

If not here, where's a good place to ask this question or questions about NG
troubles in general?

I take it you cannot see the posts from home.
Can you share the newsgroup and server?
What newsreader are you using?

Have you tried posting to
microsoft.public.indows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress ?

Nope cannot see my posts from home. Server is news.eskom.co.za and it seems
all NG's on it are so afflicted. Newsreader is outlook express.

Will try copying this thread to above NG as suggested.

Maybe, but I doubt it. From work everything looks normal to me, my posts are
there with everyone elses, but you can't see them and neither can I from
another PC away from work. They are truly "invisible". Maybe the newsfeed is
being downloaded through the firewall and what I'm seeing is "local" and my
posts are also "local", so no one from otherside the firewall can see them
i.e. they are not being uploaded to the outside.
