Hello,
I am sorry but I was incapable to understand the previous answers. So
I start again and
I h o p e this time someone will be kind enough to e x p l a i n
to me, a novice in the matter . Here is my problem.(I have aWindows XP
Media Center PC.) My "New BlankDocument" in "Word" is not blank!
Before it used to be blank when I opened the word or when I clicked
the icon(looks like an empty page) just under "File". Now it reads
A. True
B.Flower
C.Scent
as it is written above. I know I typed these 3 lines before but
somehow I must have done something extra so that they appear all the
time now. I know I can delete them and have a blank sheet in front of
me, but the point is I do not want them to appear. What should I do
to
have a blank sheet as I used to have before?
Please help, it is so horriby frustrating.
Thanking you in advance,
Urban

You should post to a Microsoft Office newsgroup. We are not necessarily
Word experts. And we don't necessarily know how to fix your problem.

DL gave you the answer in your earlier post. You need to delete all
instances of normal.dot on your machine. You will most probably find it at
C:\Documents and Settings\"Your username"\Application
Data\Microsoft\Templates

Urban,
Please do as suggested, that is, delete all copies of normal.dot on your
computer.

Have no fear. When MS Word notices that Normal.dot is missing, MS Word will
create a new and clean and blank Normal.dot file.

Urban,

You may be thinking, "How do I find normal.dot?"

Start
Search
For files or folders
Select "All files and folders"

Put in the box offered, normal.dot
