I have tried to add http://www.wamegogolf.com/ as a network place, i am
using Windows XP. After typing in the URL and pressing Next, I was prompted
for the username and password, I did so and received the following message:
"The folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another."
I am
not even prompted to enter a username and password.
If I try to open this web site in FrontPage 2003, I get this error: "The
folder 'http://www.wamegogolf.com/' isn't accessible. The folder
may be located in an unavailable location, protected with a password, or the
filename contains a / or \."
On a different computer using Windows XP I am able to open
http://www.wamegogolf.com/ just fine.
Why would FrontPage and My Network Places not be able to open this site?
I have re-installed web folders to no avail.
I have also tried opening the page through internet explorer edit, but the
web site does not show up.
