Dude, it sounds like you have the MSBlaster virus. The first step you'll need to do is to stop your computer from restarting when you get on the net. I'll try to describe the procedure here

1. Goto "Start -->Control Panel
2. In this next window double-click the icon "Administrative Tools
3. The next one you want is "Services
4. From here, scroll down the list to the service named "Remote Procedure Call
5. In this next window, select the tab "Recovery
6. This next one has 3 drop-down boxes with several options in the
7. In each one, select "Restart the service", instead of the default "Restart the computer" (This is what is causing the machine to keep restartin
8. Reboot your machin
9. You will now be able to get on the net without your machine rebooting
10. The next step is to rid your machine of the virus
11. Goto www.vet.com.au (or any other anti-virus vendor's site)
12. From here search for the Blaster virus which should give you a page full of info, as well as 2 very important links - one is to a patch from microsoft which you will need to download & install. The second is a download of a cleaning tool which will remove the worm from your system
13. Once you've downloaded the cleaning tool, close all programs & unzip the downloaded file to see the cleaning tool along with a text file of instructions
14. Run the cleaning tool
15. Reboot your machine
16. Change the settings "Restart the service" (as described above), back to "Restart the computer"
17. Get yourself an up-to-date anti-virus (try AVG - www.grisoft.com, which is a free one)

BTW, my mum has bi-polar, so I kind of understand where you're coming from - keep your chin up!
