My navigational link bar has disappeared

I am somewhat new to frontpage, and while creating a wedding website using
frontpage 2000, computer crashed. Friend of mine was unable to retrieve
information off the hard drive, so my website is floating out there and I
can't make any changes. I finally figured out this morning that I could
publish it to my hard drive then re-publish to the web, but I went to check
it today, and the link bar has vanished from the website. It was there a
couple of days ago. No idea what happened, or how to get it back. Basically,
how do I tell the home page that there is a navigational structure with a
bunch of other pages, and include that link bar on each page? Thanks.

Did you actually publish live from the server to your hd or did you in fact
IMPORT it? If you imported it this means you lost the navigation view ...
which case you need to reinstate that by dragging the files into the
navigation view ...

you really need to post your link when asking a question.. it's much easier
to see what you have done first hand.

your better off with includes and making your own menus ... you have much
more control anyway.
