My "N" key was loose and has now fallen off. Now I have to press the space
that is left there rather hard to get that letter. I still have the actual
button, but it is difficult to put back on because I don't know how to click
it back in. If anyone knows what to do in this situation, your help would be
greatly appreciated!

Take a look at the cap and figure out how it mounts on to the
micro-switch. If the attachment is actually broken, keyboards
are relatively inexpensive and replacement is straight-fowward.
If this is a laptop key, then a shop might need to do the repair
or replacement.

If is can be reattached - look real close, and line it up and snap
it back on, if not, then get a new keyboard - shoot, some brand new
USB types are only about $5-$15 dollars. I'd give you one of my old
ones, if you lived close by, but to ship it would cost more than
going and buying a new cheap one <go figure>!

Why not just replace the keyboard? They can be had very inexpensively.

Then contact the manufacturer for warranty replacement, or to determine
replacement cost. Laptop keyboards are generally easy to replace,
especially if you visit a local computer repair shop.

Laptop keys can be awkward to get on. It should just snap back into place
but there is no way to explain it. You just have to look at it and work it
out.

As has been said a replacement might be the easiest way. They are relatively
cheap and easy to change on a laptop.
