my music files disappeared

after using windows media player for the first time last
night (i used winamp before), now when trying to open my
music from another program, my songs are not in my music
file as before. where are they? i can still get to them
from windows media player but i need to get to them from
other programs ie. soundforge. what is going on?
 
did you search your computer for them? look in documents?
right click on a file in media player maybe it will help
you find it.
