My Sony Handycam capture fine, but when I make a movie to a cd, and play it
back, it 'pauses every few second' then start again, and it doesn't seem to
play like it play when it is attach to my TV, which play it 'normally'!! Plus
my audio is not in sync. with the movie/frames. Also it doesn't play in a
regular DVD player. Help?

Have you tried burning it to a dvd? Remember to save the movie as a dv-avi
file to ensure the highest quality and then when you save it DO NOT TOUCH THE
COMPUTER. You may want to disconnect from the net and disable all programs.
You want your processor to only be working on saving the movie. Any
interferece will disrupt the save and cause skipping.

No I haven't try copying to a DVD disk yet! I was told today by a IT tech.
that I would need to have a DVD Burner to burn it to a DVD disk, then I would
be able to watch it in my DVD player on my TV!

That's right you will need a DVD burner. The following articles may help
