I'm having trouble with my monitor. After booting my system and loading is complete, "OUT OF RANGE" appears on my monitor screen. I've tried "F8", re-booting and unplugging the monitor, but no luck. The problem started after I attempted to change my monitor setting from the lowest setting--all the fonts and icons were extremely large. Not only was I not able to change the pix setting, I also couldn't change the monitor settings. How can I re-set the monitor to get a picture?

My email address is (e-mail address removed)

when booting windows (right at the start) hit f8 and select VGA mode.

then correct your screen resolution/refresh rate. consult monitor users
guide for supported refresh rate/resolution
