That tell me all i need to know, you have two options and there isn't any good way of finding out which one it is with out messing about,
1, its your Graphics Card
2, Its your motherboard
Normally when that happens its the motherboard 7 times out of 10 anyway its one of the biggest mistakes people make (its got to be the graphics card cus thats what its connected to but it turns out to be the M/B)
What you need to do it find out if you have on board VGA if so take out your G/card plug your monitor into your on board part and see if it boots, if it boots then your G/Card is to blame if not its the M/B
One pos is that your VPU card isn't seated correctly AGP slot are temperamental and if not seated (even 1mm out) it fails to work, try taking out the G/Card and reseating it pushing down until it wont go no more and you have heard the click.
POST bleeps normally alert of what’s wrong in side the box but what i have found many of times is that with this fault you have got, there are no bleeps as the M/B has completely gone, but hopefully your one of the 3/10
if you haven’t got On board VGA then see if you can test your VDU card in another computer or test a VPU card in your computer,
If your card works in the other computer then its your M/B 80% but there is a possibility that it maybe a incompatible issue
so the test a card in your computer is best, if the new card don't work then its your M/B 100%
the other test is the opposite, try a replacement motherboard if that dont work its your VPU.

first monitor the screen loads for a sec then shuts off.
