We ask that you not post HijackThis logs in the MS newsgroups. HJT logs
require a great deal of time and expertise to analyze and you will not
get the help you need here. Instead, post your log to one of these

It is bad enough that you post a HiJack This log without asking if it is accepted first but,
you Multi-Posted this as well !

Plaese learn what is and what isn't acceptable in a News Group. Ask what is acceptable
about FAQs and/or Charters prior to posting for the first time.

Additionally, please learn to Cross-Post and not Multi-Post to pertinent, On Topic, News
Groups.

While I agree with the other posts about everything, I also took the
time to look through your logfile briefly and I have a few suggestions.

1. You are running WeatherBug. This program has several hijacks
associated with it in my experience. I would remove it and use another
weather service such as Google Desktop or Kapsules.

2. you are running a peer-to-peer file sharing process. This is a great
way to inroduce malware, virii and hijacks into your system. Many of
the programs available on peer-to-peer are pre-infected for your
convenience.

I would run Spybot, AdAware and as many other legitimate spyware
applications as you can to remove the malware. Then, remove the
peer-to-peer and remove weatherbug.

Hope this helps.

In reference to #2....

There is no such word as 'virii' or 'viri'. The plural of virus is viruses.
This is a common Usenet mistake !
