My ie 6 frezzes when Im trying to put a page in my favorites...hel

My ie 6 frezzes when Im trying to put a page in my favorites, some knows why?,
For some reason it keeps frezzin on me, I just scanned the pc for virus,
spy-ware, and popupers, and nothing, still does the problem... I also remove
extra add-ons, and the same.... what can I do?

can you drag from the address bar to a folder or desktop?
can you save a fave using keyboard Ctrl+D?
can you right-click mouse on a link on a webpage then Add favorite?
