For some reason my desktop icons start to have solid box background on the text and some king of outline on the image. How can I have it transperant as it was originaly?
make sure you have all the web features (active desktop)
turned off, and that you don't have anything "locked" (eg
right-click on the desktop -> arrange icons -> "lock
items on desktop" should not be checked).
ok. i figured it out. Go to control
panel>system>advanced>in the box that says "performance"
click on settings>and make sure that "use drop shadows
for icon labels on desktop" IS CHECKED.
if that doesnt help, right click on your
desktop>properties>desktop>customize desktop>web>and make
sure that nothing in the list is checked. apply and it
should work.
