I was working on a network at a doctors office on Windows
2000 Professional, and I right clicked the E drive under
My computer (the E-drive was not a local drive), then I
clicked disconnect. The icon for the E-drive disappeared,
so I can't enable it. How can I reconnect the computer to
the network without going through the entire connection?

Go into Windows Explorer and select tools/map network drive. Select the drive letter
you want to use and either browse to the share you want to map the drive to or enter
it as in \\severname\sharename. You then need to check reconnect at logon if you want
to make it persistent after a reboot and have the option of using a different logon
name/password to connect to it if need be by selecting "connect as different user
name. --- Steve
