my help index stopped helping! word '02

When I open up my help index, I can't follow any of the links to the
actual answer to the questions. The window opens and the links to the
answers appear, but all I get is a maniacal click when I try to
actually use the link.

Help...me...please...

Try the Word recover option in the Help menu

Unfortunately, that still didn't change anything. Any other ideas?
