Hello !
My Tosh 2.5 inches disk is sick (or running into an Alzheimer's) : it
can't remember it has got a 1024kb buffer : DFT dislpays a buffer size
of 0 kb for it.
Ant ideas ?
And do you know an efficient tool to test and repair bad sectors on a
Toshiba device ? DFT refuses to do that for me since it claims be
designed for IBM/Hitachi drives only !
Thanx.
Season's greetings.

JB, from Paris.

Why not get a diagnostic tool designed for your brand hard drive? Laptop
drives are usually pretty easy to access. You should be able to see the
drive well enough to read the brand. Or you could use something like
AIDA32 to find out the details of the drive. Then visit the
manufacturer's website and get the correct tool.
