preferences window of the game is detecting a wrong cpu ("intel pentium pro
sse 2786.8 MHz"instead of "intel celeron 2.8MHz)what i believe to be the
cause of the problem.i experience constant crashs, slow gaming and every
time im in movement and i try to stop it keeps going foward what ever my
direction is with out my fingers on the keyboard.
i tryed to get help from CODEMASTERS but they don't have a solution for
me.....can u help me please?

I'm not sure what is causing the problem you have, but after seeing
your DX report, I don't think that it is because the game is
misreading the CPU speed. 2786.8 MHz, when rounded up, is the same as
2.8 ghz. You might want to check with the game manufacturer to see if
the game is compatible with a Celeron CPU. It may be that the game
was released before the Celerons were available, and can't tell the
difference between the two. In my own experience, many older games
may say that you have a Pentium when you have a Celeron, but still
play anyway. Also check to see if there are any patches, installation,
or setup tips on the manufacturer's web site. Also be sure you have
all the latest drivers for your video, sound, and other hardware.
Also check to see if the manufacturer supports your particular video
card.
