does anyone know how to set Windows XP Home Edition so
that I don't see any of the "My" folders such as "My
Documents", "My Music", "My eBooks", "My Pictures" etc,
etc. They seem to be everywhere: start tab to
documents. I tried deleting them, but they come back
again and again. I tried setting them to be hidden,
doesn't work. I'm all out of ideas. I only create
folders that I WILL use. I don't like being forced to
have folders around that I NEVER use. In other words, if
I want a "My Documents" folder, I'll create one myself.
I don't need it to be their without my permission, so to
speak. Please help me get rid of this VERY ANNOYING
problem. I'm wondering if Microsoft intentionally made
it so that those folders can't be taken away, even though
they serve absolutely no purpose.
