my-find.com - how to remove ??

I have some virus on my computer which set url http://my-find.com as a
start page of internet explorer. It also opens popups with
advertisments. I've tried to remove it useing both norton antyvirus
and ad-aware but without any results. Does anyone have an idea how to
remove it ?

Try SpyBot S&D. SpyBot finds things AdAware does not and vice versa.

It is probably a browser hijacker......download Hijack This from the link
below and follow the instructions. If this doesn't work, then use
CWShrdder.....see link below......

It's probably CoolWebSearch.

Homepage hijacks with a search page are usually the CoolWebSearch
malware. It is very hard to get rid of. Try the solution - the
CWShredder. Read about it here:

If the above don't cure the problem, get this program
http://www.net-integration.net/tools/hijackthis.html
and submit the results to their forum. This page will help non-novices

Your browser was hijacked, it's not a virus, but could open you up to
getting 1.
I'd go to majorgeeks.com & not only get the spyware s&d, adaware, but
also hijack this. After downloading & installing both spyware s&d & ad-
aware run the updates, then run the programs 1 at a time. Also on
spyware s&d run the immunize icon. After you run those, run the hijack
this program it will have a list of a lot of items, but make sure all
our other programs are closed, it'll help shorten the list of non needed
info. You can either post your results on here & I'll do my best to
help, or post on this site spyware info.com/forums/ that's all
they do. but make sure you read what they want before you post there,
system info, etc...

I forgot to mention, reboot after before you run the hijack this, & then
you can leave the autostart programs running. But reboot after you scan
with the s&d or ad-aware.
