My files in my Excel program will not open?

I have files I made in Excel and I cannot get them to open. When I try to i
have to go to HELp and disable them and they still do not open.

Can anyone please tell me what I may have to do?
 
Do you get any error messages - Describe exactly what you are doing to try
and open them, step by step.
