Yes. All the files in outlook. I lost some very important information. I
tried uninstalling 2007 and reinstalling 2000, but to no avail. Is there a
tool in outlook 2000 that corrects the corrupted files?

I've tried to import pst files but I keep getting a message, "Properties for
this information service must be defined prior to use." Any idea? Thanks

Rather than try importing, a process which will corrupt your Outlook profile
and lose data, just open the data file from within Outlook using
'File|Open|Outlook Date File'.

To add
Assuming OL2007 is set up and running open all pst files (within OL) to
locate the info you require.
Then copy data to the default pst
Uninstalling OL rarely cures a problem, and certainly not with a data file
