My files are multiplying like rabbits!

I am using Windows XP. My files in "My Pictures" keep
automatically replicating themselves. I now have 27
copies of each file (picture). How do I shut this
automatic copy feature off?
 
I have no answer to your question but, have you considered scanning a $100
bill and saving it as a .jpeg.
