I am having an ongoing problem with my email address. When I am asked for my
email address online, whatever email address I insert, I am prompted to
reenter my email address because "your email address is an invalid email
address"! I have a google adwords acccount and I cannot access it because of
this problem. I have run my spyware, adware, mcafee scans, degragged,
etc......... with no succcess. Help!

And the URL of the logon web page would be?

I've heard of a Google account, a Google Groups account, a [Google] Blogger
account, and a Gmail account, but not an "adwords" account. What is an
"adwords" account? What is the URL for the login page for that type of
account?

Could be that you don't have an account yet under the e-mail address that
you gave. Could be you didn't answer (by clicking on a link) the
confirmation e-mail that Google sent you as part of the registration
process.

Hi!
An adword account is for someone who advertises on google pay per click.
I have had the accct for over 4 years. That is just one example of what is
occuring in regards to email verification.

Aha, found it at http://www.google.com/ads/. I guess that I've grown
accustomed to ignoring the right-side frame with the adword matches and I'm
not familiar with advertising on Google.

I see the adword account login page uses SSL. Have you tried connecting to
other SSL sites, like your bank account, to make sure SSL is not blocked by
your firewall, IDS (intrusion detection system), or other anti-malware or
censorware on your host?

Have you ever used SpywareBlaster, Spybot S&D, or any other anti-malware
program that can put a list of "bad" cookie domains in the Blocked list for
IE or add "bad" domains under the Restricted Sites security zone? Could be
you need their cookie to complete the login.

Could be that URL is in the Restricted Sites security zone (you could test
by putting it in the Trusted Sites security zone). Some anti-malware
programs, like SpywareBlaster, can add a list of "bad" domains to the
Restricted Sites security zone.

Maybe that site requires getting the Referrer from the HTTP headers and your
firewall is blocking it. Some sites rely on Referrer to know that a page to
which you navigate was reached from one of their other authorized pages.

Do you have any ad-blocking software installed?

Have you checked your hosts file since some anti-malware programs add
domains there to block access to them, or maybe you grabbed one of those
hosts files, like from MVPS, that has a slew of domains listed (but point to
127.0.0.1 to block their access).

Do you use any popup blocker programs? Some will block or simply not show
interstitial pages (i.e., pages that display between the current page and
the eventual target page) but scripts on those pages are expected to execute
to complete a procedure.

Do you have Javascript disabled?

If they bill you, they should provide you with some contact information
rather than have to wade through their FAQs. Maybe they show your account
is in default, you used your max quota, or whatever, but you couldn't tell
if they don't let you log into your account. You might want to contact them
using their web form at https://adwords.google.com/support/bin/request.py.

Hi,
Is a security/privacy program preventing you from posting personal
information? Zone Alarm, McAfee, another?

When you type in an e-mail address does it turn into ***** ?
