My DVD-RW Drive (E:)

Whenever I open a blank DVD+R disc and try to drag files to it , I Get an
error message that states " Windows encountered a problem writing to this
folder. What do you want to do?"

Whenever I open a file and try to copy it to a blank DVD+R disc, I get the
same message.

The drive works fine with a CD-R disc.

I have only one disc drive "Light Scribe DVD + - Writer/CD Writer" I run
Windows XP Home.

This is about as technical as I can get

The windows burning program cannot burn to a DVD, are you using a third
partys packet writing software? If not try this one (free).

Mike,

I see where you're going with this and I have a question. Why can't Winows
burn to a DVD? When I purchased the PC, that was one of the sales
points...all-in-one drive.. It says directly above the drive, "Light Scribe
DVD + - Writer/CD Writer"

Your thoughts please, Mike.

It's just the way the Windows XP burning software is written.
