"My Downloads"

Whe I download an update, such like a Windows XP driver update from the HP
website, the original downloaded ".exe" file go to the default "My
Downloads" folder.
Then when I double click and go to the process of intalling the download,
it goes elsewhere, but the original ".exe" file remains in the "My
Downloads" folder.
My question: After the installation, that original downladed ".exe" thing
is supposed to remain in the "My Downloads" folder, or I can delete it?

You can, unless you want to save it for a future reinstall, of course.
