In Windows Explorer, my disk listing shows My Documents (with My
Music, My Pictures, etc) at the top.

I only want to see the main areas, such as C:\ and Recycle Bin, etc.

How can I prevent My Documents from appearing at the top?

Like this?

Start > Run > "explorer.exe C:\" without the quotes?

If that's what you want make a shortcut to it and use that.

No problems and yes, it's pretty obvious but you're not the only one who's
asked that question. You can change it to be something like explorer.exe
C:\documents and settings\your username\my documents\my music too if you
wanted.
