I upgraded from ME to XP and I cannot find the old My
Documents folder. Is it still accessible??

My Documents appears on the Start Menu. I assume the icon is not on the
desktop? Did you perform an upgrade installation or a format and clean
install of XP? If you upgraded, then all your data should be intact.

Knocka,
Even if you performed a clean install(advanced option), your data should be
intact(you would be asked to reinstall your program files as they won't be
registered to the registry), and your old folders should stay in the same
place.
Your new My documents folder is in C:\Documents and Settings\{Your Name}\My
documents
Your old My documents folder should be in C:\My documents
You can access it using the My Computer\C:\
Sincerely,
Pascal.

Just to clarify: by "clean" install I meant a format of the installation
partition (which would wipe any and all data there) and then installing XP.

You can't upgrade from ME to XP...so you must have deleted the partition
containing ME in the process of installing XP...no more documents.
