In Windows XP I could right click "My documents" and change the location of
the folder that contained all my stuff, for example to another hard drive
that had room for it all. Now I find that I have a user in the c:\user\xxxx
folder and all the subfolders that used to to be in "My documents" now
resides there along with several other program folders that used to be one
step up in the hierarchy. Now I want to relocate pickture/video/downloads
etc to another partition on the hard drive, but that seems a bit more
difficult now.

Anyone got an idea other than moving one and one folder?

Just right click on the names in the start menu, you go to properties, in
there a tab "Location"

The rest should be clear!

Then I still would have to go and change the location of downloads, saved
games, videos etc too, ie its not very efficient. I wanted do do it in one
move, like I did with "My documents" moving all at once.

Right clicking the user profile name in start menu only shows "Open",
"Explore", "Copy" and "Show on desktop"

Yeah. I know. But the folders you find in the user folder wont move unless
you go in there and move those too. So its not a good solution compared to
how easy it was moving "My documents" in XP (which contained all the folders
now residing in the user folder and not in the document folder).
